September Favourites

PA081650.jpgNew stationary – Looking at the collection of stationary I own I should probably stop but what’s wrong with keeping suuper organised, right? The coloured pens or to keep everything colour co-ordinated, helping me to make sense of them at a glance.

Ciate Red lipstick – Lipstick can completely change a make up look and for me red can make the biggest difference. It stands out a little more, makes your make up pop. Creates a nighttime look or a bold daytime statement. I’m loving these liquid velvet listicks at the moment because of how long they last.

Low Side Bun Hairstyle – This one isn’t a product, so I’m not entirely sure it counts?, but I’ve been loving this hairstyle the last few weeks and have also been wearing it with a few variations. I love how tidy it is keeping all my hair back from my face. To create it i’ve been using the bun styling tool above which creates a very neat bun.

Sally Hanson Nail Strengthener – After having Shellac nails for an occasion last month my nails had grown a lot and I was worried about how strong they’d be. As soon as I removed the shellac I painted them with two coats and my nails felt less delicate and smoothed down instantly. After a few days I topped up with another coat. Sometimes I don’t have the chance to paint my nails as often as they need or I’d like but I like them to still be protected and less likely to snap when there’s no coloured polish on them which is why I love using this. Plus it dries really fast, which is one of the reasons that my nails don’t get painted. I’m far too impatient.

Checked Topshop Cape – With fashion changing I worry about buying items like this because it doesn’t go with a ton of things I own but it’s gorgeous, which is why I had to have it. Sometimes though I feel as though I don’t wear items enough, however this is still perfect for this Autumn. See how I styled it here.

Flat thigh high boots – These are another item that I worried were soon going to be hidden at the back of my wardrobe never to be seen again, especially because I was fairly late on buying these after flitting backwards and forwards for months between whether or not they would be a good purchase. I’m so glad I bought them, I’ve been wearing them again already and forgot how comfortable they are. They make a great extra layer for your legs too when it’s cold out.
