Christmas present shopping is something I really love doing, the excitement of giving a gift you just know they’ll love. I like it even more than shopping for myself, it’s shopping but without the guilt. Usually I go on and on shopping because I keep finding things I know they’ll love, this year (as I’m on a little bit of a budget and I thought it was a really good idea) I wrote down every persons name that I was buying for and wrote down the items and cost of each item I bought them. This was mainly to stop me going OTT, I start my Christmas shopping quite early (around September time) and usually keep going until a few days before Christmas so this gives me a really long time to keep picking up those ‘little extras’. This year, because of the list, by the end of November I was completely finished – I’ve even started wrapping a few! I always struggle for space on where to hide them though! Have you got any special hiding places? For anyone who’s a slightly stuck on what to buy or just looking for a little inspiration, I’ve put together a few items varying from luxury to stocking fillers or little extras.
Socks as a gift have a bit of a stigma around them but if they’re this cute or soft I’m sure anyone would enjoy receiving them. I love new socks especially in winter to get all cosy in while sat in front of the fire or snuggling in bed.
Ted Baker gifts are so pretty and they’re 3 for 2 in Boots at the moment, perfect for little beauty extras.
Boux Avenue is one of my favourite shops, i discovered it around three years ago and haven’t been able to stay away since. I always recommend anyone buying for a girlfriend, or daughter etc to go here! Everything is just so pretty and girlie and lovely! Last year I think my mum bought me half the shop! – all the boxes, while wearing my Boux Avenue onesie…
Candles are the best at this time of year which is why they make such lovely Christmas presents, Yankee Candle are probably my favourite candle because they make the most cosy scented candles and there’s so much choice!
Lipsticks can be a tricky one but if it’s someone you know quite well you should be fine. If you’re anything like me you enjoy having almost every shade of lipstick anyway and i think as long as you go for around their preference colour you can’t really go wrong. I came across No7’s moisture drench lipsticks a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed wearing their lipsticks since, as I mentioned in my October Favourites post. If you know their favourite brand even better but the No7 Moisture Drench lipsticks are really good for anyone who suffers from slightly dry lips because they don’t dry your lips out at all.
Are any of these on your wishlist?
