URBAN DECAY SETTING SPRAY – Since using this setting spray I have noticed my make up stays in place all day and doesn’t look shiny half way through which prevents my make up from slipping. The formula is oil free so perfect for any skin type, especially those prone to oily skin. I’m so happy with this purchase, I’ll definitely buy it again and I’m also looking forward to trying the ‘all nighter’ version which I’ve heard some amazing reviews about.
LAURA MERCIER TRANSLUCENT POWDER – I fell in love with this powder from the first time I used it, it’s got a much lighter and finer feel compared to the powder I previously used. I noticed that my other powder was starting to look quite heavy and ‘cakey’ on my face. With this powder it’s hard to tell that I’m wearing any at all plus it has no real colour to it which I really like, this way it can’t look ghostly pale or add colour to my foundation. It’s perfect for setting under the eyes as it isn’t heavy and so doesn’t make lines prominent, regardless of the amount of product that you use. You can also reapply this product several times throughout the day without having to worry about it looking heavy.
RIMMEL SCANDALYES GEL LINER – I really like how easy this eyeliner is to apply, I thought it would be so much more difficult to use.
SMASHBOX PHOTO FINISH FOUNDATION PRIMER – Helps make up stay in place, smooths out skin and slightly conceals large pores, does it’s job completely. I wrote a review of this primer and two others recently read it here.
NO7 STAY PERFECT FOUNDATION – I used to use this foundation a couple of years ago and it worked quite well for me, I decided to try it again and I’m still quite happy with it.
NO7 MATCH MADE CONCEALER – Good for blemishes but I don’t use it under my eyes as i think it could be a little too heavy. It seems to be getting used up super quick.
MAYBELLINE INSTANT ANTI-AGE ERASER EYE CONCEALER – I love how brightening this concealer is under the eyes it’s light, creamy and easy to blend. I didn’t actually expect this product to be as good as it is and for the price.
MAX FACTOR AGELESS ELIXIR 2 IN 1 FOUNDATION – Another foundation I used a few years ago and decided to revisit, this time I found my face looked quite oily after having it on a couple of hours. Nice and light with medium coverage just not for my skin type.
MAX FACTOR MASTERPIECE LIQUID EYELINER – It’s easy to apply for a thin flick but there doesn’t seem to be much product on the tip so it isn’t very black or bold, which is great for a more subtle slightly smudged look.
MAX FACTOR LIP GLOSS – I’m not really a huge fan of lip gloss however I love the sweet toffee like smell of this and the colour is pretty. I’m not sure it’s something I’ll wear very often because my hair always sticks to lip gloss and it’s not the most attractive look however if I’m indoors or there’s no wind (although this seems very unlikely in England) Not practical for everyday or prolonged wear but nice for short time wear.
RIMMEL LONDON GOOD TO GLOW HIGHLIGHTER – There’s a very subtle shimmer with this cream highlighter. It’s lovely for natural glowy make up look especially for summer.
